Hello today I want to talk a bit about worm composting and the benefits for your garden worm composting or Vermaicomposting is the process of using worms usually (Red Wigglers) to turn food scraps into compost. And let me tell ya; these little suckers do some serious work they can eat up to half of their weight each day in food scraps and the results are impressive! a Gardeners dream..it’s like black gold!! This can easily be done in garden bins , beds or buckets be sure to add some drainage holes and add some yard scraps..sticks, leaves , add some soil and your worms and kitchen scraps add some more soil and last put newspaper over the top and turn every so often, which can easily be done when adding food scraps! You may also have to add soil every now and again,So…along with the best looking garden on the block! you are also reducing the amount of waste in our landfills. Word of caution I would only start out with a small amount of worms at first as they do multiply quickly.

Give worm composting a try #🪱💩 I doubt you’ll be disappointed, I have dabbled in this a bit last season and saw good results my plants were happy and healthy and it was easy to do, so I will be giving it another go this season. Get down and get dirty my friends! Happy growing.😊
